Use the free rounds to answer the questions that matter: how often a round ends with the Grinch before a ring gets going, how many spins the red ring usually needs, what Part Cashout actually does to your progress – and whether you stick to your exit rule when two gingerbread men are already lit. A few dozen rounds teach you the game. They do not predict the next real-money spin.

What is Twist X-Mas? The Christmas wheel game by InOut Games

Twist X-Mas is the Christmas sequel to Twist, InOut Games' wheel game from summer 2025, released in December 2025. The setting is a snowy forest at night: a full moon above fir trees heavy with snow, strings of Christmas lights and a festive soundtrack. In the middle sits the wheel – three coloured rings around a spinner that shows one symbol per spin. Snowman, fir tree and gingerbread man each move their own ring one cell up the multiplier ladder, the snowflake changes nothing, and the Grinch ends the round and burns everything on the wheel.

The rules are short and fully visible: the blue ring climbs from x1.55 to x10, the green from x2.5 to x44 and the red from x3.9 to x200. Cash Out pays the sum of the highest active multiplier on each ring; Part Cashout banks a share and lets the round go on. A full red ring starts a bonus game with 10–25 free spins without the Grinch and up to x500, which can also be bought for 100 times the stake. The RTP is 97%, stakes run from €0.10 to €200 and payouts are capped at €20,000 per round. In April 2026 InOut Games reused exactly these values for Twist San Quentin.

8.6/10

Our rating of Twist X-Mas

A clean, transparent wheel game with one of the highest RTPs in the InOut Games catalogue, a genuine choice between Cash Out and Part Cashout and a bonus worth up to x500. Marked down because it is a reskin of Twist with no new mechanics, and the Christmas look feels odd in July.

How to play Twist X-Mas: from the first spin to Cash Out

A round of Twist X-Mas is a series of spins. It lasts until you cash out – or until the Grinch gets there first. Five steps cover everything.

  1. Set your stake. From €0.10 to €200 per round in the standard configuration (operators may set other limits – the rules inside the game show yours).
  2. Spin. The spinner in the centre of the wheel lands on one of five symbols: snowman, fir tree, gingerbread man, snowflake or the Grinch.
  3. Watch the rings move. A snowman advances the blue ring one cell, a fir tree the green ring, a gingerbread man the red ring. A snowflake leaves every value as it is. The Grinch ends the round and burns all accumulated multipliers – without a cash-out, the stake is lost.
  4. Cash Out or Part Cashout. Cash Out pays the sum of the highest active multiplier on each ring and resets the wheel. As soon as one ring has at least two filled cells, Part Cashout appears: it pays out part of the win and lowers the progress.
  5. Fill a ring. A complete blue ring adds +x7, a complete green ring +x20.5, and a complete red ring starts the bonus game with 10–25 free spins. Autoplay can run the spins for you.
❄️ Snowflake: nothing moves, the round goes on😈 The Grinch: round over, every multiplier burnt🎁 Full red ring: the bonus game starts

Example: you play €1. The spinner shows a snowman, another snowman, then a gingerbread man. The blue ring now stands at x4.85, the red ring at x3.9. Cash Out pays the sum of the highest active multipliers – x4.85 + x3.9 = x8.75, so €8.75. Since the blue ring has two filled cells, Part Cashout would also be available. Or you spin again – and hope the next symbol is not the Grinch.

The three rings and their multipliers

Each ring is a ladder of fixed multipliers printed right on the wheel. Every matching symbol lights the next cell, and the highest lit cell is that ring's current value. The rings differ in length and steepness – these are the exact values shown in the game.

Bonus

All multipliers are times the stake. The pill at the end of each row is the reward for a completely filled ring: +x7 for blue, +x20.5 for green, the bonus game for red. Cash Out pays the sum of the highest lit cell on every ring.

SymbolRingWhat it does
Snowman – Twist X-MasSnowmanBlueMoves the blue ring one cell up: x1.55 → x4.85 → x10; a full ring adds +x7.
Fir tree – Twist X-MasFir treeGreenMoves the green ring one cell up, from x2.5 to x44; a full ring adds +x20.5.
Gingerbread man – Twist X-MasGingerbread manRedMoves the red ring one cell up, from x3.9 to x200; a full ring starts the bonus game.
Snowflake – Twist X-MasSnowflake–No effect: every ring keeps its value, and you can spin again or cash out.
The Grinch – Twist X-MasThe GrinchAllEnds the round and burns all accumulated multipliers – the stake is lost unless you cashed out before.

How to read the ladders: the blue ring is the shortest – three snowmen fill it – but it tops out at x10. The green ring needs five fir trees for x44. The red ring is the long road: seven gingerbread men for x200 and the ticket to the bonus game. Because Cash Out adds the rings together, two modest rings can be worth more than one ambitious climb – blue at x4.85 plus green at x7.7 already pays x12.55. Part Cashout unlocks as soon as any ring has two lit cells, that is, after the same winning symbol has appeared twice.

Bonus game and Buy Bonus: free spins without the Grinch

Fill the red ring and Twist X-Mas switches to its bonus game – the only part of the game where the Grinch has the night off.

How the bonus plays. You receive between 10 and 25 free spins. Snowmen, fir trees and gingerbread men keep filling their rings exactly as in the base game, and the multipliers you collect build up. Because the Grinch cannot appear, no spin can wipe the round – the result is cashed out at the last free spin. The bonus game pays up to x500, and the €20,000 round cap still applies on top.

Buy Bonus. If you would rather not wait for seven gingerbread men, Buy Bonus takes you straight into the free spins for 100 times your stake – €10 at €0.10, €100 at €1. The number of free spins and the win stay random, so a bought bonus can return less than its price; it is a shortcut with its own risk, not a discount. In some markets Buy Bonus is not offered, and then the button is simply missing. Try it in the demo before you pay for it with real money.

Snowy forest, snowman and the Grinch: theme and symbols

Twist X-Mas swaps the water, earth and fire of the original Twist for a winter night in the forest: a full moon over snow-laden fir trees, Christmas lights and a festive soundtrack. The symbols are round, glowing badges – cute, easy to read and recognisable at a glance even on a small phone screen.

Snowman – Twist X-Mas

Snowman

Santa hat, carrot nose, big smile: he moves the blue ring, the short ladder from x1.55 to x10.

Fir tree – Twist X-Mas

Fir tree

Glowing green with a golden star on top; it pushes the green ring from x2.5 up to x44.

Gingerbread man – Twist X-Mas

Gingerbread man

The sweetest and most valuable symbol: he climbs the red ring to x200 and opens the bonus game.

Snowflake – Twist X-Mas

Snowflake

The neutral symbol: nothing moves, nothing is lost – the next spin decides.

The Grinch – Twist X-Mas

The Grinch

Horned, purple and grinning: he ends the round and burns every multiplier still on the wheel.

Night forest

Snowy clearing, full moon, fir trees and Christmas lights – with a festive soundtrack in the background.

The presentation is polished rather than new: wheel, animations and layout are the familiar Twist interface in winter colours. That is both the strength and the weakness of the theme – cosy in December, a little out of place in July. What the festive dress does well is clarity: three ring colours, three matching symbols and one villain you cannot miss.

Cash Out, Part Cashout, Autoplay, Provably Fair – and how fair the game is

Cash Out

Pays the sum of the highest active multiplier on every ring and resets the wheel – the classic way to lock in a round.

Part Cashout

Available once a ring has two filled cells: it banks part of the win and lowers the progress, so the round can continue.

Autoplay

Lets the game spin for you – useful in longer sessions; decide on your budget and exit rule before you switch it on.

Provably Fair

Every spin can be checked with the server seed and the client seed, so neither casino nor developer can change a result.

On top of the three rings, Twist X-Mas has its bonus game with free spins and the optional Buy Bonus described above. Its fairness rests on three points:

  1. The 97% RTP is published by InOut Games and listed in the game rules together with the multipliers of every ring.
  2. Provably Fair: after each round the result can be verified with the server seed and the client seed in the verification panel.
  3. InOut Games uses a certified random number generator tested by independent laboratories; the casino cannot decide which symbol the spinner lands on.

Keep two checks apart: a fair game and a safe casino. A published RTP and a Provably Fair record say nothing about the operator – that still needs a valid licence, clear withdrawal terms and a history of paying out.

RTP 97%, stake limits and the €20,000 cap

RTP 97%. InOut Games publishes a theoretical return of 97% for Twist X-Mas – a house edge of 3% over a very large number of rounds and one of the highest values in the studio's catalogue. It describes the long run, not your evening: a round can end with the Grinch on the very first spin, while long climbs on the red ring are rare, so the balance moves in jumps. You shape the risk through how long you let the rings climb and how often you use Cash Out or Part Cashout.

Stake limits. The standard range is €0.10 to €200 per round. Each operator can configure its own limits and currencies, so the figures in the rules of the casino's version are the ones that count.

Top multipliers and the cap. The red ring tops out at x200, the bonus game at x500, and every payout is capped at €20,000 per round. The cap only matters at high stakes: at €200 it is reached at x100 – half the top red step; at €40 a maximum bonus of x500 lands exactly on €20,000; at €1 the same bonus pays €500. Casinos may apply a lower cap of their own – check the rules before you play for real money.

Is Twist X-Mas legit? Real or fake?

"Twist X-Mas real or fake?" is a frequent search, and the answer is simple: Twist X-Mas is a genuine casino game from a certified studio. InOut Games is based in Cyprus, holds a Curaçao licence, uses a random number generator tested by independent laboratories and publishes the RTP of every title. On top of that, each spin can be verified through Provably Fair with server and client seeds.

The scams live elsewhere: sites selling "Twist X-Mas hacks", "Grinch predictors", bots or "signal" channels, and tampered copies of the game outside licensed casinos. Nobody can know which symbol comes next – the outcome is produced on the game server, not in an app or a browser plug-in. Play only with operators licensed in your country and check that licence before you sign up.

Twist X-Mas on mobile: app, APK or browser?

You will not find a Twist X-Mas app in the App Store or on Google Play – and you do not need one. The game is written in HTML5 and runs in Safari, Chrome, Firefox or any other modern browser on iPhone, Android, tablet and computer. You always get the current version, with nothing to install, no storage used and no permissions to grant.

On a phone the round wheel stays easy to read and the buttons are large enough for one thumb, which suits the short, focused sessions the game is made for. Stay away from any "Twist X-Mas APK" offered by unknown websites: the official game lives in the browser, and an APK adds nothing but risk. Before you play for real money on mobile, check that the game picks up the round correctly after a dropped connection.

Where to play Twist X-Mas for real money

To play Twist X-Mas for real money you need an online casino that carries the InOut Games catalogue. The button below leads to a casino that offers the game in the browser on mobile and desktop, accepts several currencies and has a welcome package for new players. Open Twist X-Mas there before your first deposit and check currency, stake limits, the win cap and whether Buy Bonus is available: these may differ from the demo.

Gambling rules differ from country to country: play only with operators licensed where you live, you must be of legal age (18+, or older where the law says so), and most regulators run self-exclusion schemes. Set deposit, loss and time limits in your account, try the free demo first and see every stake as the cost of entertainment, never as a way to earn money. If playing stops being fun, call the free helpline in your country.

Twist X-Mas strategy: what you control and what you don't

No pattern tells you which symbol the spinner will show next. "Strategy" in Twist X-Mas therefore means three decisions – stake, exit point and the use of Part Cashout or Buy Bonus – plus your own limits.

What works

  • Fix your exit before the first spin. For example: Cash Out as soon as the rings add up to x5, or after a set number of spins. A rule made in advance beats a decision made while the Grinch is looming.
  • Use Part Cashout on purpose. Banking part of the win once a ring has two filled cells protects the round – but it lowers the progress, so it is a poor fit when you are chasing the red ring and the bonus.
  • Add the rings up. Cash Out pays the top cell of every ring together: three modest rings can beat one long climb.
  • Keep the stake flat. One stake size per session keeps your results readable and stops a bad run from dictating your bets.
  • Mind the cap and the bonus price. At €200 the €20,000 cap arrives at x100, and every Buy Bonus costs 100 stakes – size both to your budget, not to your hopes.

What doesn't work

  • Reading patterns in the spinner. Every spin is generated on the server; three snowflakes in a row say nothing about the next symbol.
  • "The Grinch is due". A long run without him does not make him any more – or less – likely.
  • Martingale after a burnt round. Doubling the stake after every loss makes it explode within a few rounds, while each spin stays independent.
  • Buying bonus after bonus to win it back. At 100 stakes a time, chasing losses with Buy Bonus drains a balance very fast.
  • Predictors, bots and signals. Nobody sees the next symbol before the spinner stops – whoever claims otherwise is after your money or your data.

Pros and cons of Twist X-Mas

Pros

  • RTP of 97% – one of the highest in the InOut Games catalogue
  • Clear, transparent ladders: every multiplier is printed on the wheel
  • Part Cashout lets you bank part of a round and keep playing
  • Bonus game with 10–25 free spins without the Grinch, up to x500
  • Buy Bonus for direct entry where it is offered
  • Free demo; runs in the browser on phone, tablet and PC

Cons

  • A reskin of Twist without new mechanics
  • The Christmas theme feels out of place outside the holidays
  • Rounds can end abruptly: one Grinch burns every multiplier
  • Payout cap of €20,000 per round limits high stakes

Twist X-Mas vs Twist vs Twist San Quentin

Twist X-Mas combines the 97% RTP with the bonus game and Buy Bonus. Twist San Quentin uses the same ladders and bonus but returns 95.5% and softens the reset: handcuffs only knock every active ring back one step instead of ending the round. The original Twist also pays 97% and accepts stakes from €0.01. All three run at the same casinos, and all three have a free demo.

Frequently asked questions about Twist X-Mas

Yes. The demo on this page is the official InOut Games version with a virtual balance. It needs no registration and no deposit and uses the same rings, multipliers, bonus game and maths as the real-money game. Demo winnings cannot be cashed out.

InOut Games publishes a theoretical return to player of 97%, which means a house edge of 3% over a very large number of rounds – one of the highest values in the studio's range. Your own results in a session can be far above or below it.

The highest step on the red ring is x200, and the bonus game pays up to x500. Every payout is capped at €20,000 per round, so at a €200 stake the cap already applies from x100. Casinos can set a lower cap of their own; the rules in the casino's version show it.

The snowman moves the blue ring (x1.55 to x10), the fir tree the green ring (x2.5 to x44) and the gingerbread man the red ring (x3.9 to x200), one cell per symbol. The snowflake has no effect. The Grinch ends the round and burns all accumulated multipliers.

Cash Out pays the sum of the highest active multiplier on each ring and resets the progress – blue at x4.85 plus red at x3.9 pays x8.75. Part Cashout becomes available once a ring has at least two filled cells: it pays out part of the win and lowers the progress, so the round can continue.

A full red ring starts 10–25 free spins in which the Grinch is out of play. Multipliers are collected as in the base game, up to x500, and paid out at the last free spin. Buy Bonus gives direct access for 100 times the stake, but it is not available in every market.

Yes. It comes from InOut Games, a certified studio licensed in Curaçao with an independently tested RNG and published RTP, and every spin can be verified through Provably Fair. Play only at casinos licensed in your country.

No, and you don't need one. Twist X-Mas is built in HTML5 and runs in the browser on iPhone, Android and desktop. Avoid "APK" files from unknown sites – they bring risk without adding anything to the game.

UpdatedGame data, the demo and the recommended casino are reviewed regularly. Stakes, currency and the win cap can be set differently by each operator – the rules in the version you open always apply.
